I would suggest you look into inheritance models. This is exactly what they were setup to do.

Try to change the fourth argument (D) in the vector S from 7 to 10.
Can anybody explain that error?
One problem I could imagine is, that the if statements should always cover all cases and therefore should be "closed" with an otherwise statement. This is not the case with many if statements in this program and some do not cover all possible cases.
The program uses no array anyway but I guess that the top statements which try to set the global worksheet variables ORIGIN and TOL will not have the desired effect - they have to be set outside the program.

It can be done in many ways. Please refer tutorial suggested by Christopher/hit on link

Can we create detail licensing report in Excel format. Mean to say is it possible to get exact details of License used like who are using which license when it was released, host ID, server details and all
Hi Nazeer,
We are seeing something similar with Unigraphics NX on 10.2 M020 CPS 06. A few users report the problem, but not all users. We're still trying to debug and we have been providing logs to PTC, but we have no idea what the root cause it yet. I'll let you know if we learn something.
Hi,
I think your trying to Use incompatible versions, Kindly check your Creo and Windchill Version Compatibilites.

Hello all,
I have found:
I use TechSmith's Jing to capture screen videos to create user guides and manuals. I have tried to post the resulting flash video to the forums only to have the system not accept the file.
Does anyone have any advice or experience with posting flas based video?
- Jim
A couple of ideas come to mind...
If by reporting in the structure, you are referring to WTPart Structure in Windchill then there are a couple of trade-offs to consider:
Arbortext 5.3 does not have the restrictions you're reading about. It is only the newer Arbortext versions that use FlexNet licensing which have restrictions on terminal services sessions. For those type of remote sessions you cannot use node-locked licenses. You can use floating or registered user licenses in that situation.
I'd solve the problem of opening and closing each found file with Autohotkey. The script you can learn to create with it can let you find only the specific file types within any amount of subfolders. It's not that hard to learn as you may think at first. If you prefer any other scripting language then go ahead.
If you need any help with AHK then let me know.
I am part of an FTC second year robotics team of ten members in Oregon. We have only used basic functions of PTC Creo in our robot design process and believe it would be best to have a expert give us a quick tutorial or two. Our objectives are to learn how to model and create simple parts and to edit ones that are already made.
Is there anybody who would be willing to schedule a couple video call/in person sessions with my team to go through some helpful and essential skills in PTC Creo Parametric?
We would be willing to sponsor you or a company of your choice in return.
Any help would be appreciated.
Please respond if you are interested.

Many thanks for reply.
But whats happen when my comapny dosent have license on each Computer, but have a floating licenses wchich
every PC (where is installation of Creo), "download" from our license server?
In this situation also i can use standalone license? (i want use DB only on one PC where i currently work on creo installation, i dont need use DB on network)
So second thing is when i dont have a administration pr. on my computer, it is neccesary to reinstal creo for install DB?
Hi,
Distributed Batch is free (no license required). "Standalone" in Martin's reply is for service manager, if you don't have advance licenses for service manager you can use Standalone. You can simply execute the Distributed batch referring the steps in earlier reply.
If you didn't install distributed batch earlier, you can install distributed batch from installation media (using setup.exe)
"Mathcad handles something like "quantity with units"+0 by assuming the 0 has the appropriate units."
But in the given case of the IF statement there is no addition, it's replacement, and then you loose the units.
I ran the program in Mathcad 11 and it complained about units in the UF.TenBnd definition. After I changed the IF statement like I show above, the program ran without problems, and fast (although I don't know if the answer it gave was any good).
My conclusion: it's definitely a Mathcad 15 problem.

Model weld as separate solid part. Define bonded interface between part /weld. Also define contact interface between both parts or surfaces.
So that the parts are ''merged'' using weld part.
The weld it self is probably not going to fail anyway, its the area near the weld that is of interest.
This is happening to me also. Need answer.
1. kindly stop thinking Solidworks and Inventor way..to work better in Creo.
2.yes you are right, the master option works only once, after using it ones you can further use the exclude option to remove the component/components which you do not want.
3. Solidworks and Inventor were made with ease of use in mind, the would always be better in ease of use.
